Google says its 1.5 hours to midtown if you take the metro north but when talking to locals they say they can get to grand central in 40 minutes if you ride express and that it comes every 15 min or so.

I might conclude the complicated nature is the problem, but other people would argue the complication is necessary and so it must exist.Some of those "bad things" are the things being expressed in this thread today.

Should they express hardship to you then you can then tell them to try to pay what they can -- and then work out a forbearance or deferral plan on the outstanding rent if absolutely necessary -- but please remove your emotions from the picture.
