As Eric said, a short sale is really looked as a favor to the seller and with the seller moving in a direction the lender would deem litigious, any goodwill will be gone.Frankly, the "produce the note" approach is best utilized as a last ditch effort when the seller has exhausted all other remedies.

In my worst house I took a sledge hammer to the floor and busted out a trench.I inclined the ditch and put down gravel.I laid down some pipes and directed them into the sump pit.Now the water is simply flushed away.
