I also would create a new contract and have them sign that so in the event there is a discrepancy in the future, you have something in writing. 

Some areas of Canada are experiencing a discrepancy between income and house cost, though I'm actually from the East coast where it is not really a problem.Thanks again.

I save the arguments for when we find a discrepancy, or when we want the price lowered due to an issue we find during inspection.  

If you have some discrepancies about a business partner, maybe do a few smaller deals with them and see if those pan out. other wise keep it to yourself and make your own money. 

This may vary by state and be what is accounting for the discrepancy here.

If there are discrepancies clients tend to feel uneasy and decide not to re-invest.   

Now that I own it, I am having my own inspection done, and I will report back if there are any major discrepancies.

Based on my experiences:Zillow is not a good MLS search tool - though the discrepancies that I've found have been listings rather than solds.There are some markets where Zillow is very accurate.

@Chris Seveney  The last loan payment was in 2010 -  there's a large discrepancy between their account and mine - that's one of the issues.
