Since you alluded to the fact the property is a lower priced property, its even more important to complete an inspection moving forward with similar purchases because its more difficult to absorb this cap ex repair.

If targeting new construction, keep searching for an extended period of time until you find a builder that has a good deal, avoid builders that clearly will be difficult to work with, it was easy to spot.
