While it's still one of the patchiest parts of the city, Holy Corss, Woodruf Place and Cottage Home having been gaining more and more traction for quite a few years and their attractiveness is spreading to nearby neighborhoods and blocks.

Getting a prefab cottage or metal building might only be 10-35/sqft.

Hi everyone,I purchased my first home (400k) in Charleston SC, a 2 bedroom 1 bath house with a 1 bed 1 bath cottage behind the main house, a little over a month ago.

They appear to be there, but I can't view them like I can the other docs.Looks like my tax return is on hold until they do something.Communication would be nice.I am winding down with them and only have a small amount out with Cottage Grove right now.

We personally have a cottage on Trout Lake.

There is also a separate small cottage in the backyard that is rent ready as well and it's currently being used as an STR.

The reason why some appraisers don’t give value for extra bedrooms when comparing units of multi family property is because the adjustment is generally included in the square footage adjustment of the grid which are based off of a $ among per square cottage difference.

My family has a cottage there and we've been going for years, but we've never considered operating a STR property there until now.I'm curious if anyone else here has experience in that market and can share tips, advice, experience?
