If it is a very low-pitch, shingles should NOT have been used to begin with. 

And yes, it makes sense with the brick, that's why I am also waiting on doing some finishing work on the basement cinder type blocks, I can tell they are really cold, but the siding is like a wood shingle so it's actually not as cold to the touch.

Also replace any borderline shingles and make sure the guttering is in top shape. 

They are typically a bit more expensive up here than asphalt shingles but have a longer life span.

How good is it if you research a Stock or a Mutual Fund and try to buy the shares and a Computerized Trade sees your order, buys the Stock first, *because* it saw your order, then it *automatically sells that Stock to you, at a higher price*?

It sounds like the inspector is saying that the edge of the roof where the shingles should over hang 2" over the edge of the roof, they dont.
