If you still are thinking about it, do a complete background check, verify employer, past 2 landlords (the last one might lie to get rid of them) , pull their court cases in your local jurisdiction, look at the interior of their car, take a photo of their ID, etc...

I’m a designer with experience in both architecture and interior design.

Anyways the seller just got back to me that he does actually have a move-in checklist for them and only photos of the interior of the unit just not the exterior and landscaping.  

The doors to each unit are currently interior grade hollow core doors.

I have multiple close family-friends who work on redoing interiors of houses for a living who I could ask questions.

and if someone wants to see the interior?

I am just trying to figure out what kind of interior renovations would give the bang for the bucks such as stainless appliances, kitchen counters?
