King County as a whole has become a very un inviting place for business due to the culture of city and county councils. 

Usually now it has to go to City Council for a couple readings and they vote on it!

@Kris Wong I agree completely the council's lack of strategy with the homeless problem is of greater concern.

There was a specific person, who was opposed to self management, on the city council that lost re-election, and I was pretty happy to hear that news! 

This plan is reviewed by many agencies (think fire, police, treasury, commerce, city council, mayoral, etc.) that will have to respond to the growth.

The political climate should make most people nervous and the city council is extremely anti-landlord.
