Usually when you replace a sewer , you are only opening up about 4 ft wide at the house , and unless its a full basement with a bathroom the ditch is only about 4 ft deep on average .

Yesterday, the city informed me that i was in violation of an ordinance to not have cracks in driveways over 1" wide and that it must be repaired immediately.Does anyone have any ideas of how to resolve this issue?

@Jackson Pontsler There are a wide variety of responses as there are a wide variety of wholesalers, so there's no broad-brush answer to that question.For those who are out there to find deals by taking advantage of desperate, or uneducated people, yes, I have a problem with that.
