For STRs, i always bet on it being outlawed at some point so most are underwritten as LTRs, no to low leverage, and/or we view as a family second house.

This is low-hanging fruit for AI, because there is no physical work.

@Deepak C.you can use Turbo tenant to find tenants, going through a PM company is going to be your best bet for management - most will want 8-10% of the rents. 

This translates to: they know they will make more with your money in stocks / & bonds long term.I know the allure of fixed / known income is appealing… but if you do the math I bet you will find that the historical average of the market outperforms what the insurance company is offering as the return on the  annuity.  

Physical Property InspectionOverall Condition: Look at the general state of the building, including the roof, foundation, windows, and exterior.Common Areas: Inspect hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces.Mechanical Systems: Check the condition and age of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

If not, DSCR would likely be your best bet.

I believe I am not qualify for primary residence because I do not physically live in the states side.
