At that point I had to give pause as it didn't look like I would ever collect all that interest.

Ive had a list since then and have basically paused my action.

I think as Bill rightfully points out you should pause and take in some of the state regulations around what you perceive as this business.  

The other thing that gives me pause is locals that do not practice real estate as an occupation or even as a hobby are getting in on the action.

The number of sun spots is a good proxy for the amount of energy transferred from the sun to the earth.As is typical with the sun spot cycle the number once they peak then the number of sun spots declines and with it we have recorded a pause in rising global temperatures. 

I will point out that it is nice we don't have to pause and argue about investing in loans under the guise of getting the property.

I work in CRE lending, and I have heard about lenders giving pause on otherwise solid deals due to the N Mpls location.

i got nervous and paused. someone else bids. he says, "thanks anyways" and takes the 10k check from me. now that was crazy!

@Gino BarbaroIt is a capital intensive business, so at some point soon I'll have to pause, and let some of that capital turn back to me, from either refi's or sales of assets.
