Always options in real estate.

The tenants have the option of something like a rent strike but they should know they could be evicted and then will be forced to move - if there is cheaper rent, then that seems doable.

I’m particularly interested in strategies for scaling in the multi-family space, creative financing options, and building strong partnerships.If you’ve worked on similar deals or have insights into the best ways to grow in this industry, I’d love to hear from you.

To Chris' point, you can find lower options if you handle some of the management responsibilities.

Just be sure it’s documented and consistently applied to avoid any Fair Housing pitfalls.Another option is to stick with strictly quantifiable criteria—credit score, income ratio, etc.

Plenty of opportunities if you price your place correctly and you offer better options then local hotels. 

If you think land flipping is for you, there are plenty of decent paid options out there. 

If they fail to handle it, I will do it and charge them for my time.Another change I made was to add a no-deposit option to all my residential rentals.
