Hey BP,I was listening to a podcast recently by Dan Lane from the Rental Income podcast  and he interviewed a gentlemen who was using credit unions to invest in value add buy and hold deals.

What kind of questions would you ask when interviewing a Title Co.

I brought this list of interview questions with me and wrote down the answers:  1.Do you have in house handymen/maintenance people?

You should definitely interview some realtors that have experience in multifamily and in the areas you mentioned.

@Jonne Washington Absolutely, as a starting-out investor like yourself I encourage you not only to go to your local REIA events, but be proactive, read books, listen to podcasts, interviews, and also try to find other networking events at meetup.com for example and even eventbrite.com Don't hesitate about shooting me an email if you have any more questions Jonne, I will be more than happy.

So interview some banks, narrow it down to 2 or 3, and get loan estimate for each.Admittedly, the Loan Estimate doesn't tell you if they are fair, honest, responsive, care about you, etc. 

He hates doing most interviews so he keeps it short lol but outside of that he is literally a walking encyclopedia of the game of football!!

Reach out to two or three of them to interview them personally, check their references and then make your decision. 

This concept is now what I base the majority of an interview with a potential hire for my team- in the form of a simple question- What can you teach me about?
