As much as I would like to be able to purchase something that I don’t have to live in, I know how important just getting my first investment off the ground is and this just may be the easiest option for me (not to mention if I could work out a duplex where I ended up with free rent that would let me build up my cash reserves a lot more quickly).

My wife an I do currently have 2 condo/townhouses in addition to our home that we rent out and maintain.My goals are to start out Wholesaling to get my feet wet and build up some capital, while networking to find buyers and private lenders to eventually start flipping and also buy and hold some for long term.Thanks for reading my story!

If you're wholesaling it, and the deal is good, you'll find buyers -- you don't need to build up some list to do that.

Additional information:1) I plan on purchasing a 'turn-key' first home to live in and shortly after settling in I plan to purchase another property that needs some work to possibly flip to build up some capital for the next (bigger) investment.
