I've always had a keen interest in Real Estate, but fear has kept me from doing anything other than reading and dreaming.

@David Michael Like most, my fear is that i will be broke as an agent in NYC.

I need like 20 units or properties at this rate and I fear I may regret if I keep going.  

Most have either deceased owners or owners who have abandoned the house out of fear of collections / foreclosure. 

The fear of sharing information may prevent you from proceeding but sharing something about a project will likely yield some interesting stuff in this forum.

I avoided this thread for fear it was a how many pirates does it take to screw in a lightbulb joke.  

Fear is your most valuble tool as a landlord.

I fear over priced bids with respect to the risk.I would have been happy getting any of the 3 or our top 4 that were redeemed.

I fear there are going to be many a broken hearts and lighter wallets following that advice.I could write a glowing book on this stuff but its not reality for beginners at all in my mind. your statement above is solid gold. !!!
