IF they know of a violation, they might note it in their appraisal and depending on how persnickety the lender is, that could be a PITA but unlikely.If the municipality does a code check to issue a certificate of occupancy/habitability before closing, THAT could potentially throw you off.  

Got through with County permitting EXCEPT for one lonely document referred to as "Certificate of Compliance".

Is it ONLY so they can pull out their Certificate when the Ethics Board comes calling?

The county does not sell individual tax lien certificates.

Also, we had the inspection done and I was told by the municipality t takes 30 days to get the temporary certificate.
