More or less, run....but not away from investing, but to resources at this site, proven local people who will talk for the price of lunch, or to the library (all the books in my "classics of landlord literature" blog post should be free at your library).

I have a blog post on the classics of landlord lit, all should be free at the round rock library or for a song at a used bookstore around the area.

But I love building my library.

On outside ending, I have some old classics of landlord lit in a blog post (all probably free at the library or low cost used).

Lots of great buy and hold info here ( I have a blog posts on classics of lanldord lit  and all those books should be free at the library)..also, of most interest to you may be some of the strategies for low down payment on this site (some involve owner occupancy of a 2-4 unit, for example, or others involve more creative financing) to avoid the traditional higher downpayment for investment properties.

@Sunny Suh Hi Sunny, I used to read the getrichslowly blog before it was sold, and I've read everything that the JCPL provides through its digital library regarding finances.  

You can sit around and read every book in the library on real estate investing, but nothing will prepare you more than stepping out of your comfort zone and taking action.  

I just got an S5 smart phone and when I tried logging into BP with the same info that works just fine on my PC, it's says the username or password is incorrect.
