As mentioned before, if you're going to be investing thousands of dollars into a market, it is more than worth your time and money to get a hotel room and a plane ticket. 

And bingo, they passed restrictive laws that gave their constituents a sign free driving experience 4 days a week.The fact that you were not aware of State/local ordinances regarding sign restrictions, says that you were not planing on picking them up.

May also be worth researching if any companies (ex. starbucks) have opened businesses in the area recently or are planing on opening in the future as it may suggest the area is growing rapidly.

I’m close to Oshkosh had fun this morning watching some unique aircraft fly over on their way to EAA Oshkosh OH don't get me started on the Cirrus jet I had a deposit on one.. then the economy cratered they could not build them and could not have bought one.. but if I would held my position I could have sold it for some big bucks  LOL   Reveiws are strong on that plane.. not the fastest or highest flying.. but then again Cirrus has created brand loyalty that is pretty hard to duplicate.TBM 700 may be an option too..   

Jim and I have talked before about strategies to convert a SFR portfolio to something else and it can be done, but it takes planing, patience, and time.

You may not find that out until later.If I were a pilot, I'd be looking to be the best pilot possible, but if I'm put on a defective plane and find that out in the air, I'm going to want to have a trustworthy parachute
