My LLC is in VA and the property of interest is in GA, my lawyer said that this is not an issue, but I want to confirm here that an out of state LLC is not a major issue in Blue Ridge / Smokey Mountain regions.

So...the best places in the area for me based on my own location are:Saugerties, Woodstock, Phoenicia, stone ridge, catskill or hudson.

I am looking at buying older homes and many do have the 1950s brick, a little larger, and deeper ridges, that I have seen in newer brick homes.

@Ignacio Linares if you don't have any breweries planned out yet I have to recommend Wolfes Ridge, they have a great taproom off the alley in the back of their restaurant and really have, in my opinion, the best beers in the city.
