With recycling, there's 3 garbage pails for each rental unit, so with 6 to 9 cans rolling around the sidewalk and streets for days, it gets ridiculous.

Turns out the roofer hired parolees to help rehabilitate them and they were not permitted to enter houses or leave job sites.Had the neighborhood association's attorney show up in my driveway one morning when I was leaving for work and reported that one of my resident's guests was found passed out on the sidewalk with their pants around their ankles.Had a resident break through the dividing wall in the attic that separated units in a duplex and steal items from the neighbor.

if it's more than 2 units the landlord is responsible for snow removal. not sure about owner occupied though. on a side note, you may want to go ahead and make sure all the sidewalks are clear because that's on you if someone takes a dive.

At each property we give one of the tenants a $50 credit each month for cutting grass in the summer, leaf cleanup in the fall, shoveling the short sidewalks in the winter, keeping common area hallways & stairs cleaned up year round (vacuum/sweep every other week).
