(Large hump in middle of room plus cracking along drywall), mine has a large basement(cant count as living space due to no egress) old kitchen cabinets, old furnace, old windows(condensation in between panes).

Consider single-family homes or renting out rooms for roommates.

If you don't need to provide laundry to get tenants how much could you rent the room for as a storage unit?

Acknowledge their trouble and express interest in correcting any issues for future guests.I'd say there's room for some pushback.

The rents are still growing on the smaller ones too as I think the rents compare favorably for people coming in when they look at a nice hotel room for 150k to 200 a night or a one bedroom cabin for 200 a night.
