I first learned about this site from a member when I was at a get together of Fastlane Forum folks in New Mexico last year.My interests are varied (shooting and Jeeps come to mind) but where real estate is concerned, it's fix and flips, syndication, multi family, and timberland.

My understanding from a buddy who sold his 15+ years ago to put in a new home was they hall them to Mexico where they have some residual value.

Then the other deal is actually a house in New Mexico that we put under contract which is actually a state that I have never even been to!  

Can any one offer creative deal structuring or advice on winding out of a SFR property in Mexico back into the US other than a retail sale?

Hopefully next summer we will be off and running to Mexico, then Thailand, then who knows?

I have purchased/hold many rental properties in Arizona, New Mexico, and now Virginia Hampton Roads area, mainly because I was stationed in those states.

I actually bought it March 19, but I was in Mexico and forgot to post details on it!
