I usually go with weed cloth, high quality bark and drought tolerant plants.

So I have 0 bills except for my school loans, food, clothes, fun, etc. 

Just yesterday, I stood in line for an hour at a tiny hip restaurant in a very gritty neighborhood where a few feet away a trendy vintage clothing store opened along with another tiny retail store targeting millenials.  

She was a hoarder and roaches were underneath papers, in clothes, in books, in beds, in couches, you name it and they were there to greet us. 

Yes, they make many of their own food and clothing products but they buy the supplies at Wal-Mart!

That is the RUB.Think about this:My tenants also bought me a vacation home, and my food, and my clothes, and my vehicles.......Sweet

I love the house, but I need fewer neighbors and enough land for a clothes line!

Also ,no carpet cleaning at turn over--just damp mop.My best tip, though, is that I buy a few hundred bucks of nice area rugs.
