Can I write off BOTH the moving truck that I will hire AND my entire cross-country road trip (hotels, meals, supplies, etc.) to get my car there?

Being an agent you would actually need to do a lot of miscellaneous kind of things, on the road 24/7... 

It’s very strange here, a house on one side of the road will cost $60-$70k, and the same house one or two streets away is $150k.Also no, my plan would include hiring a property manager for around 10-15% of the rent (last I checked that was about the going rate)

It also opens you up to one of the major ways to lose in this business which is a forced sale down the road because the property doesn’t pay for itself.I’m not religious about cash flow but this is a lot of risk you’re taking here.

This also means that, down the road, you can take the asset out of the Trust and do a 1031 Exchange, but it still provides you with that layer of protection that an LLC would provide.  

Most folks from out of the area would tend to visit the parks in summer rather than winter when roads are closed and access is limited. 

I love it down here, I love driving through the winding roads.
