My wife & I purchased our first rental in the Northeast Georgia area few months back and finally got it ready to list on Airbnb just as Georgia enacted a ban on Short Term rentals due to Covid.

One of my favorite condo communities in the city last year voted to ban renting-out of the units. . . they are now an "owner only complex" . . . which dropped the market value of the units about 15% over a few months.

However, we also got a lot of interest for 20-30 day bookings from people who wanted to move out of NYC and "work-from-home" from our poconos houses.The county then issued a ban on STR in late march , so now we are on lockdown and the STRs are vacant.Thanks
