I learned a great appreciation for the value of having water and also a new concern for being prepared.I should mention a third situation when a dam broke and sent millions of gallons of water down through the Virgin River Gorge and damage to the overpasses of Interstate 15 were a distinct possibility.

I've enjoyed my views from the back row, but have decided to lose my 'Forum Post Virginity' this afternoon.

To get to the point, one of my dreams is to own a fully operational self sustainable off grid homestead on 160 acres of virgin timberland.
