If you assume a 4 bedroom cabin that's ~2,500 sq ft, that's what I went off of.OpEx includes utilities, WiFi, property maintenance, household supplies, furniture replacement when worn out, fixing broken appliance, fixing amenities that break (hot tubs, game room, movie theater, etc), CapEx issues such as Roof, HVAC, Water heater, etc.

Lobbying to have it stopped should be paid by BANKS, rather than Guru-inspired newbies?...

Like all of Florida, our hotel lobby is strong so zoning for vacation rentals is tight (and not worth doing if not legally zoned).Just the facts here - and just the ones that investors can't get enough of...

One of the reasons why the hotel industry lobbies against STRs is that they feel (rightly to a large extent) that they are being held to different standards. 

You could lobby for a 30 day minimum rather than 6 months.

This is a question for Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs or Richard Branson or Dave Thomas (Wendy's) or David Green (Hobby Lobby) and on and on and on.  

I really don't know where you or anyone else thinks they can fall off a wagon with buckets of money, stand up and be a lender as if it's like selling popcorn at a theater.

This is one of the strongest and well-funded lobbies in Washington...
