There are ways to net out profits or secure your interests by legal methods, so why all the brain damage trying to reinvent the wheel?

I'll probably search around for an excel format so I don't spend a bunch of time reinventing the wheel.  

If anyone has a good story about someone reinventing themselves later in life through REI, I'd love to connect.

He told me his biggest piece of advice is not to try and re-invent the wheel, just find people who already invented it and learn as much as you can from them.

None of them did it with "new techniques", or trying to reinvent the wheel.

It does not make sense to reinvent the wheel.

Don't try to reinvent the wheel, just set a goal, devise a plan, and follow it.

I have been through 2 CPAs and found (now that I am learning so much) that they really had *no* idea how to do taxes dealing with real estate investments. if you have no recommendations, but at least experiences (even bad ones) to share please feel free to PM me. my intention is not to bad mouth anyone, i just don't want to reinvent the wheel in terms of finding a good CPA/CBK when i can pool my own experiences with others and narrow down my search to find the right professional. thanks in advance :)
