It usually works out if you have a great property because people will say "wow this is an amazing property for a killer deal" and youll end up with a glowing first few reviews if it pans out. then you are off to the races

Recently, a lot of the market factors that kept people away, are the same that are drawing attention.

Most people who complain about Airdna overestimating their revenue think you can just list your house on Airbnb and profits will pour in (South Park understood this fallacy best). 

When I come back maybe 2 or 3 years ago, I noticed a lot of people here on BP are talking about syndication too.

People like it because you don’t need to own property—just lease it, list it on Airbnb, and make money if guests pay more than your rent and expenses.The catch?

You’re in the right place to learn and connect with people who’ve been in your shoes.

I love the program, as it helps many people who can't afford housing.

As other people mentioned the areas do change pretty quickly. 

Realistically, to make the business work, they are hoping all the people who are using the "free services" to eventually go into banking where they can collect fees for anything bank related.
