Is anyone still active in the Houston Area?

My spouse and I moved to Ohio last year and we're currently renting in Akron, with the goal to househack by the end of the lease, or sooner if we find the right property.

I'm looking to lessen the load of work and concentrate on my exit strategy sometime within the next 10 years if not sooner.

The absolute best way to avoid taxes is not earn income.  

I have a property in Memphis...and frankly no matter how much I've spent on property management (have had three, all promise the sky and deliver next to nothing), I have gotten the run around by the property management team in all three cases, which has deterred me from investing further in Memphis real estate.

The bank could call the loan due, but this is typically not something that happens often.

I have spent the last few years working in the Pre-Fab ADU space and now working with a company called Live Near Friends and help people buy real estate with the purpose of living closer to the people they care about. 

The devil is in the details.

Norfolk is where the majority of multifamily inventory is located, Virginia beach is zoned much more single family.
