These were people with fake names and stories whose sole purpose was to see if they could create a similar situation to what I was being accused of in hopes of documenting a pattern of discriminatory behavior.

@Josue VargasI'm sorry I accused you of trivializing this, I sure you did not mean to trivialize this social problem or this young man's death by your description. 

If you reject a tenant, and they turn around and accuse you of discriminating against them, you need to have documented proof that they were subjected to the same screening process as everyone else and they did not meet the standard criteria.  

I had GRAR contact me once and accuse me of giving my access out.

It just opens up more potential for accusations later on.PS - this is why I'm investing in fix & flips, rather than buy & holds!

Don't accuse them of lying.

Be careful with this as sometimes you'll find where someone was accused of a crime but never convicted - you could get yourself in hot water denying them for something it turns out they never actually did.

I accused my PM company of preferential treatment and told them that if my property was in Lincoln Park they would be calling me with daily updates.

Although I was completely innocent of the crime I had been accused of, I still plead guilty due to reasons that I won't get into.

Which is a real worry.. but its also if your not licensed and someone wants to charge forward with that accusation.
