I have one property that has it in the dry wall mud.

@Mike Kerrigan There is a bit more than just rough framing, you are likely talking about drying in or finishing the exterior finish. 

If the food is cleaned up properly, the ants will disappear.I'm curious...is it canned food or dry kibble food?

The really good deals seem to have dried up a bit this summer here in Great Falls.
