There are a number of options, but if you look at “Return Service Requested”, you will see that you can find out the new address without the addressee ever finding out.All you have to do is mail an envelope to the person’s old address with “Return Service Requested” TYPED 1/2 an inch above the delivery address (handwritten will not always work).

The downfall of heating oil is the tenant has to pay up front for delivery . 100 gallons of oil is about $300 , typical tank size 275 gallons .

You can also remotely revoke codes for these locks and create temporary access codes (say 24 hours, because a delivery guy needs to drop something and needs access). 

I almost never deliver it because in-person delivery comes with risk.

Has anyone used a better option for securing packages from both USPS and private deliveries? 

He brings his market expertise to the table, vendor connections, and all the legwork (ie if we can save a few thousand on appliances he is the one to go get them and arrange for delivery). 

So I was able to oversee the delivery personally.  

I've also heard of putting together a small basket of items like toilet paper, soap, take-out/delivery menus from local restaurants, etc .. things to get you through the first few hours of moving without having to unpack all your stuff.

Perhaps you don't have to view them if the information you receive is satisfactory, but with the hot market you're in, you may consider moving forward with offers to get the property under contract and use the Contract to address delivery of Disclosures and for due diligence on the inspections (in a market that hot, part of your due diligence as the investor may be already being familiar with particular properties, areas, and their rent comps/values).
