I wouldn't take that kind of cheap money even if it still made money, because the extra utilities & wear & tear on the property isn't worth it.

I went to 2 property management companies which both said that the rents were to cheap in that area and they wouldn't handle the property (an 8-plex). 

The days of getting a cheap deal from a foreclosure are long over.

 Account Closed they charge for a class, get photos taken at the valet with someone else's luxury car or photoshop in a jet, write a twenty page book and become a zillionaire without even investing.Nothing easy or cheap or cuts corners or cheats is going to be the road to fast fat money. 

Agreed $100 does seem cheap for a placement fee but 10% is the market down in Austin.

His were cheap to buy, easy to clean and are booked continuously, he has the HOA to contend with.  

Yes, the homes on Longboat Key are not cheap. 

However, these "cheap" houses are where the majority of the bad experiences come from because usually for a house to be worth that cheap it is in horrible condition or it's in a location where many tenants do not pay rent. 

And when I travel to the West coast I find out that is actually cheap!! 

If you're painting a rental buy the cheap stuff and make sure it's semi-gloss.
