In my market, everyone wants a 3rd bedroom for guests or an office. 2 bedroom units are unwanted.

But for some reason "an STR" seems to feel right to me......To the OP, I like to place my cameras not so much to watch my clients but to make sure I have  enough coverage to see any unwanted bad intenders  visiting my property.

Current landlord will review any unwanted tenant with rave reviews to get rid off of them, would you expect anything else?

Stay away from North Palm Springs where the winds are high and unpleasant AF and concentrate on neighborhoods south of Vista Chino at the very least.
