I was looking at a specific cash result.With that in mind I never accepted a bad deal (negative CF) because it served no purpose, and only forced a step backwards.

The part I don’t understand is why am I able to do all the work myself if I was living there for 2 years and there’s no issue, but if I’m selling before then it’s no acceptable?

(Could be process, communication, or a number of other things).Now the thing I'll mention that you might want to chat with someone about is that many folks don't take the Sec. 121 exclusion into account for situations like yours.
