I just look at it as a diversification play.

I keep hearing about diversification in REI on BP, that is trading top tier assets for 2nd tier typically.

I prefer diversification.

This particular tactic is called a diversification exchange.  

The DFW Metroplex Is a good place to be because of its size and diversification.  

Ok Note investors I would like to hear what part (percent) of your IRA is invested in the Stock Market and what part (percent) is invested in notes with a Self Directed IRA and your thoughts on diversification vs all your eggs in one basket philosophy?

Very good fundamentals (economy, job growth, pop growth, etc) and low price points (depending on your goals, starting at 75k can get a good property in a good area)We have been looking at other markets for diversification and Indy, Atlanta, Tampa, Orlando, Memphis, Birmingham, KC, St Louis, Detroit, Buffalo and Ohio in general have all been attractive on various levels.

I personally think diversification is key to wealth building and sustaining. 

Hence, their own loss in the downturn, not "my" risk assessment that is now off.The benefit is lower risk (in my opinion) to an investor through diversification.
