@Presh DineshkumarMost of the Plus and Pro membership "perks" are very U.S.A. focussed - even the on-line calculators - and have less practical value to Canadians ... even those unfortunate enough to be stuck in the GTA ;-)Some Plus/Pro features .. such as the search members by zip or postal code now work (sort of) for Canadians (polite nagging can pay off ).If you are a flipper, or offer a real estate related service (architect, trade, etc), then the ability to post advertisements to the Real Estate Marketplace is a benefit.I upgraded to a Pro membership early on to support the site and its growth as I found it to be a credible venue for exchanging knowledge and making contacts with respect to real estate. 

I do not and would not do this, but I respect it if you do. 

Should I attend the funeral (to pay my respects, obviously, not to talk business)?

I don't know about your state laws with respect to marketing, but I don't see why it'd be required there, however I would disclose early and make it clear.

I understand building a regular relationship of trust and mutual respect but I'm not going to risk my business for that relationship and hope of future work.

I have great respect for Realtors and hope to do business with many.  

I would respectfully tell them that they can if they want, that you have photos and documentation and would be happy to explain it to the judge.  

We have been incorporating Passivhaus/EnerPHit ideas and practices into our retrofits as our knowledge increases; materials and equipment becomes available (cost effectively) here in North America; and the mindset, knowledge and skills of our trades improve with respect to energy efficiency.If the cost is equal or less than renovating a house to current code standards, then it would follow that renting that house would provide a better return on investment.
