It may mean helping out a neighbor with a maintenance task of theirs or giving them a referral to a good painter.

There is also something the painters can put in the paint while painting that will help with smells too

I was there on the first day to meet with the painter and go through what needs to be done.

My handyman/painter (who is out of Burbank) has also found some other potentially good cabinet deals in Corona and L.A. so I'm looking into those as we speak.  

This is obviously a good thing for us since it means that we can potentially paint more cabinets (it has to be done right, I was a painter for 10 years, so if you need some advice, let me know) instead of replacing them.

Talk to the neighbors and find out if each of them really paid $1,700 to the HOA for the painting.If you have to pay anything, you certainly should have the option to do the work yourself or hire your own painter.

They are running so late I have moved my floor guy twice And they are about to run up against my painter.

Have you attempted to get quotes from painters regarding the cost to strip and paint?
