I currently have it soaked with white vinegar and plans to wire brush it later, but I was wondering if anyone else had any other remedy for this or any success in doing so.

Anyone use vinegar or other products to keep lines cleansed?

We also make sure the laundry room is swept weekly, the drums for both the washer and dryer are wiped down with vinegar monthly, and the dryer vent  to the outside is cleaned periodically. 

One last thing....soak your shower head in some vinegar for an hour or so to dissolve the lime buildup and that should finish the problem!

So before the vinegar sometimes the honey approach goes further. 

I purchased an o-zone generator from MaxBlaster; that combined with a strong vinegar scrub on the walls and floors did the trick.

Pour one gallon of hot/warm water mixed with two cups of white vinegar through the condensate drain.

Try using vinegar and baking soda to remove the stains.

Even wiped down all the walls and floors with a vinegar solution which helped, but still not enough.
