About two weeks later, the appraisal came back with a value that was off by approximately 35%, leading the lender to reject the loan.I contacted the lender to explain why I believed the appraisal was flawed.

I am cross eyed by all the FB and Instagram gurus but one or two seem to be legit and I absolutely want a mentor and a team.

We purchased 133.7 acres January 20th of 2024, we then proceeded to subdivide 4 building lots, ( two 10 acre lots,  and two 2 acre lots)  which included costs associated with septic testing,  survey & subdivision, and property maintenence required to market the building lots.

Any advice regarding the pros and cons of these two cities?

ThomasHi Thomas,Glad to ear that overall you are having good experience in Portugal.My two cents.The only formal valuation I ever asked came quite a bit higher than the negotiated price.
