I have a truck bed tool box, and aside from having a tool bag (separate) that has most any hand tool you could need, the box has spare fuses, a plumbing snake, rubber boots for a wet basement, a drill & saw, a little bit of wire, etc.

But I also have no issue with calling a plumber (or even RotoRooter) to handle a clog if I either know it's something I won't be able to fix (I don't do plumbing snakes) or if I'm unavailable.
