I need to rent my house out but thinking about going the untraditional route ie Airbnb, Padsplit etc.

This route is seemingly self-serving but I  intend on being transparent in why they should wholesale rather than sell through an agent.

I’m torn between going the wholesaling route or sticking with long-term rentals. 

As someone new to real estate, I’m curious if going this route is a smart move for a beginner or if there are better ways to start investing.

I have always imagined getting to the point where I could hold/ run a small community of mountain cabin rentals or a guest house, something along those lines.Thanks,Chad  Yes I meant AirBnb and Mid-term rentals, rent by the room, glamping (although I probably wouldn't go that route), buying commercial RE and running a business (for me that would be a lot of work with a W2 job and buying property locally or leasing out a space is expensive here). 

I live in CA and drove that route for years to visit family in Phoenix, AZ. 

@Timothy Frazier I wouldn't use the word bad because if that is the route needed to acquire a piece of property then mission accomplished however you are stacking the deck against yourself with this approach.  

I am currently renovating it and we plan to when i am done to transfer the property to my buisness name. what would be the best route to go.

There are many routes to go when starting to find leads it all depends on your budget and experience.
