I have noticed this too.

You might as well start now in case they suddenly bring up the 3-6-12 months notice required to leave them. 

Alternatively, put it on the market and give the tenants notice keeping in mind that showing times will have to be done with 24 hours' notice to the tenants. 

If you post profanity, they MAY delete it for you without notice:)

So I would separate the days you want to enjoy it for yourself and if they're already booked, you hold every right to cancel them as long as you provide timely notices, full refunds, maybe even a slight discount for other dates, etc.

I know we wouldn't include a clause like that if we did offer brokerage services because our Property management agreement has a 30-day notice to terminate at any time for any reason no penalty. 

I noticed the market was shifting, so didn't run to get under contract until day 43 of the identification period.

My lawyer suggests in a situation like this that I give them a notice that I am the new owner and that as of a certain date they owe market rent of $X,XXX.
