They may specialize in maritime or immigration or tax law and have zero experience in contract law. 

While tile floors are terrific in warmer, humid climates and, for that reason, are prolific in Florida, it's not where you want your feet to land when you jump out of bed on a Maritime or New England winter morning.

I know the Maritimes (NB, NS, PEI) better than I do Ontario and, while prices here are full, they are not at the ridiculous levels seen in the GTA and other parts of southern Ontario. 

While we are still building our holdings here, we have begun looking for opportunities both within the Maritimes and elsewhere.

This maritime setting is picturesque with panoramic views of the ocean, rolling fields and Smutty Nose Island.

I find CMHC and stats can way to broad and they can lag a couple months behind, I use what people are actually paying within the last couple months to determine my rates for maximum rental rates.The best part is its broken down with points on the map so you can check specific areas and neighborhoods down to the street.Samuel,That must be a regional thing as sites like PadMapper, Rent Donkey, etc tend not to be any more useful here (Maritimes) than what you can scrape from Kijiji yourself.  

All of my properties are located in PEI currently but I am interested in branching out, learning new markets in the Maritimes and scaling up to larger deals with more units. 

Some investors get worried investing in New Brunswick due to the population decreasing over the last census period, but the Moncton CMA actually grew by 4%.Happy to connect with anyone wanting to discuss investing in the Maritimes or investing from a distance.Brad
