And how far back in time would you consider someone a client?   

Not having the latter I find myself on a journey to build a portfolio not just for wealth's sake, but to move the proverbial needle on beautiful design and provide a more pleasant built environment for all!

In times of economic stress, people may not choose to vacation in Las Vegas.

That really is the only way to have an efficient professional partnership - total open communication whether the conversation is pleasant or sour. 

Is the issue in scaling in time strain and work flow or money?

I am a new investor so I'm willing to put in time equity in exchange for knowledge and experience.

Also the fatal flaw with books is they're written at a point in time, which means they are not necessarily related to today.Still can learn a thing or two, but I would resist the urge to follow the book that hard.

Playing with payments:Instead of borrowing a $3000.00 amount from our LoC to make a lump-sum payment on our original, amortized loan and then repaying our LoC just in-time to do it all over again, why wouldn't we simply make an additional payment of $304.16 directly onto the original loan?
