Our public institutions for "higher learning" are primarily filled with "instructors" who are FAR more interested in instilling extreme political views on our young people than providing the the skills for such mundane and pedestrian pursuits like .. earning a living.

I've bought some NLP programs but have avoided using techniques in that package because I feel that they make me sound like a snake (as does the instructor of the package, which will remain unnamed).As for 1031s, while I know very basically what they are used for (exchaning equity from one property to another) I've never actually dealt with them.

A friend just said that in his RE class his instructor, who is also an investor, read the Indiana code and an corp cannot sell property without going through or being a broker.Is this true?

I suggest you ask questions and participate (don't take over the class, LOL) hopefully you'll get an instructor who has financial experience that can relate the materials to real life instances and not just read the book.
