They will not allow you to renew your policy over the phone, everything "must be done online" and their software forms inflexibly do not allow you to switch from annual payment to monthly payment for example. 

If they are willing to enter into a MTM agreement with their client, then you can play ball - but we all know the government is completely inflexible with this kind of stuff.
