I have been doing rentals in boston for two years and my phone is constantly ringing for student housing, international students, short terms furnished rentals, people doing their residencies and fellowships, job relos, people coming here for the hospitals for treatment.

They would sacrifice their lives in many instances rather than deny their faith. ( one other correction- African Americans are welcomed into the Mormon Church in full fellowship with all opportunities available to them, the same as any other people on the face of the Earth) I'm not trying to categorize different prejudices, just stating they exist and MOST groups get over it.

That said i would definitely make sure your planning on doing your fellowship in the same area before you jump in head first, otherwise your probably not going to have enough time in the home to build any equity.

I'm about to begin a postdoctoral fellowship sponsored by the National Science Foundation at Harvard University so I'll be moving to the Boston area in about a year.Given I'm moving I have been looking seriously into a house hack in Boston to jumpstart my solo investment portfolio (hopefully it grows into that).
