It does take a special kind of insight to look past the façade to see the good & the bad behind it.

The facade needs tuck pointed, there is a front porch needing sanded down and repainted, fixing a couple glass block windows in the basement, and I am planning on getting a new privacy fence installed as well as a concrete parking pad in the alley.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a contractor who can re-do my garage to open up to the alleyway and add a nice wood façade to the front.

Man up and admit what it is you do upfront….stop hiding behind an “advisor” facade when you’re compensated by commission on insurance product sales.   

I think millenials think it is hip so they give them a lot of slack, eventually the facade may crack like Uber's did.

New roof, decks, repaint/ repair facade.

There are efforts at the city level to revitalize the area and grants are available to improve the existing businesses facades in the area.

In this particular neighborhood, adding a brick facade increase the value >$50K more than the frame.  

No painting (just the windows), either.This will transform the entire facade from dowdy to beautiful, and highly marketable.

Looks like i am going to repoint the brick facade and would like to put a decorative cornice to cover the plywood.
